Balloon Release

We have all been to some sort of event where Helium Balloons were set free, up, up, up they went. So lovely to see. Many times in color themes. But have you ever even thought about what happens to those balloons when they come down? Did you know that animals have choked on them? Did you know a child could pick one up and choke on it? What goes up, must come down. I know I live out and have grazing animals, horses, donkeys, llamas, goats, geese, ducks..... and I sure would not appreciate those balloons falling on my property. I would be furious if one person's celebration killed one of my animals.

Releasing Balloons is almost as bad as releasing Doves, Doves that is as apposed to releasing White Homing Pigeons that love the chance to fly home. Dove will not find their way home, Balloons will become dangerous trash. How long do you think it takes a balloon to break down into the environment?????
